This 1994 Mercedes-Benz SL500 was first registered in Nevada and relocated to Washington where it was purchased by the seller in 2015, and it now shows 79k miles. The car is finished in Smoke Silver Metallic over Parchment leather upholstery and is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a black soft top, a removable body-color hard top, 16″ 12-hole alloy wheels, fog lights, a Bose sound system, a cassette stereo, a period car phone, a trunk-mounted CD changer, and automatic climate control. This R129 is now offered at no reserve with spare parts, an additional set of wheels, a wind deflector, a first aid kit, manufacturer’s literature, service records, a Carfax report, and a clean Washington title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Smoke Silver Metallic (702) and features a black soft top and a hard top. Additional exterior details include fog lights, darker lower cladding, an aftermarket antenna, and fender air vents. The trunk lid and rear bumper cover have been refinished, and the seller notes paint chips. A March 2018 entry on the Carfax report lists “minor damage” to the front of the car. Close-up photographs of the exterior finish and trim are shown in the gallery below. The factory antenna is said to remain fitted, but it is disconnected.

Chrome 16″ 12-hole alloy wheels are mounted with Continental ContiProContact tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes. The steering box was repaired and the front and rear struts were replaced in 2018, and work in 2020 included replacing the steering linkage, steering stabilizer, and front brake pads and rotors.

The cabin features power-adjustable seats upholstered in Parchment leather and burl wood accents on the doors and center stack. An obsolete mobile phone remains housed in the center console, and amenities include a deployable roll bar, seat position memory, a Bose sound system, a cassette stereo, cruise control, a trunk-mounted CD changer, and automatic climate control. A wind deflector is included with the car.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel economy, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 79k miles, approximately 24k of which were added under current ownership.

The 5.0-liter M119 V8 was factory-rated at 315 horsepower and 347 lb-ft of torque. The seller states that the wiring harness, fuel injectors, and throttle actuators were replaced in 2016. The transmission mount, motor mounts, fuel filter, distributor cap, coolant hoses, drive belts, spark plugs, crankshaft position sensor, and manifold hoses were reportedly replaced in 2020.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission.

An additional set of wheels that are said to have been re-chromed are included in the sale along with spare parts, a first aid kit, and service records.

The Carfax report lists the aforementioned March 2018 damage.
