This 1967 Amphicar Model 770 was purchased by the current owner from the original owner in 1987. It is finished in Fjord Green over white and green vinyl and powered by a 1,147cc Triumph inline-four paired with a two-part manual transmission delivering four forward speeds and reverse on land along with forward and reverse on water. Features include a white convertible top, a top boot, 13″ steel wheels, whitewall tires, navigation lights, a marine horn, two bilge pumps, rear tail fins, and bumper/propeller guards. This Amphicar is now offered on behalf of the owner with service records, an Amphicar flag, and a clean Minnesota title.

The car was repainted in Fjord Green under current ownership. The soft top has also been replaced, rust repair was carried out in 2012, and the quarter panels were painted again in 2017. Features include a vented engine cover, a marine horn, an aft flag holder, navigation lights, and bumper/propeller guards. The seller notes rust in the front trunk and that the headlamp buckets need replacing.

White 13″ steel wheels wear Amphicar-branded hubcaps and are mounted with older whitewall tires. The front wheels serve as rudders when the car is afloat, and braking while on land is handled by hydraulic drums at each corner. All four shocks have been replaced during current ownership.

The cabin was reupholstered in green and white vinyl in 2000. The floor pans have also been replaced during current ownership.

The two-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of instrumentation consisting of a 90-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and a combination gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 22k miles, approximately 14k of which were added by the owner.

Power is from a rear-mounted 1,147cc Triumph inline-four. Service in Spring 2024 included lubricating the chassis and changing the oil and fluids.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels, the dual nylon propellers, or both through a two-part Hermes transmission with a four-speed manual gearbox for driving the wheels and another two-speed gearbox with forward and reverse gears for the propellers. The four-speed gearbox is a replacement that was installed during current ownership. A second bilge pump was also installed.
