This 1989 Mercedes-Benz 560SL was purchased in 2012 by the seller, who reports that the car does not currently run and has been sitting for the last few years. Finished in Anthracite Grey Metallic over Astral Grey leather, its 5.5-liter V8 is paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a removable body-color hardtop, a limited-slip differential, chrome-plated 15″ Gullideckel alloy wheels, and fog lights along with a Becker cassette stereo, a radio alarm system, electric windows, central locking, cruise control, and automatic climate control. This R107 is now offered with owner’s manuals, a Carfax report, and a clean South Carolina title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Anthracite Grey Metallic (172) with two-tone pinstripes and is equipped with a color-matched removable hardtop. Additional exterior details include quad headlights, fog lights, a power antenna, and a hitch receiver in addition to chrome-plated bumpers, trim, and door-edge guards. Photos showing blemishes in the finish, scratches on the trunk, and rust in the lower-front corner of the left-rear quarter panel are provided in the gallery below.

Chrome-plated 15″ Gullideckel alloy wheels are mounted with 205/65 Michelin Energy MXV4 Plus tires. The car was factory-equipped with power steering, fully independent suspension, and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes.

The bucket seats are upholstered in Alpaca Gray leather (278), and outer-bolster wear is depicted in the gallery. Additional appointments include a Becker AM/FM/cassette stereo, a radio alarm system, electric windows, central locking, cruise control, and automatic climate control.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a 170-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel economy, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 76k miles but does not work, with approximately 4k miles added under current ownership. A June 2013 entry on the Carfax report notes a mileage inconsistency, and total mileage is unknown.

The 5.5-liter V8 was factory rated at 227 horsepower and 279 lb-ft of torque. The ignition wires were reportedly replaced in 2023, and the car does not currently run.

A four-speed automatic transmission is connected to a limited-slip differential at the rear axle.

The Carfax report notes the aforementioned mileage inconsistency and lists history in Florida, Michigan, Virginia, and South Carolina.
