This 1975 Triumph TR6 was refurbished in 2018 and purchased by the seller in 2019. It is powered by a 2.5-liter inline-six paired with an HVDA five-speed manual transmission and is finished in red over black vinyl. Modifications installed under current ownership include Ramtech EFI fuel injection, electronic ignition, an aluminum radiator, a cold-air intake, and a wood-rimmed Tourist Trophy steering wheel. Other equipment includes a black convertible top, 15″ steel wheels, a luggage rack, and a heater. This TR6 is now offered with service records, a tonneau cover, spare parts, and a clean Michigan title in the seller’s name.
The car was finished from the factory in Pimento Red (72) and was repainted during the aforementioned refurbishment. Features include a black convertible top, a top boot, a luggage rack, a plastic air dam, Union Jack decals, rubber bumper overriders, and dual side mirrors.
Silver-colored 15″ steel wheels feature polished trim rings and are mounted with 215/70 Goodyear Integrity tires. Braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. Trailing-arm brackets were installed in 2023 and the spare tire was replaced.
The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl, which reportedly was replaced during the refurbishment along with the carpeting and the door panels. The car has a wood-veneer dashboard, and a wood-rimmed Tourist Trophy steering wheel was installed in 2022, as was a wood Tourist Trophy gearshift knob.
Smiths instrumentation consists of a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer, while gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level are mounted in the center of the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 44k miles, approximately 4k of which were added under current ownership; true mileage is unknown.
The 2.5-liter inline-six is said to have been rebuilt in 2016. Electronic ignition and replacement spark plugs and wires were installed in 2020. Electronic fuel injection from Ramtech EFI was fitted in 2023 along with an aluminum radiator, a replacement water pump, and a cold-air intake.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via an HVDA Toyota-sourced five-speed manual transmission that was fitted to the car in 2016, per the seller.
