This Fiberfab MiGi II is an MG TD replica that is based on Volkswagen Beetle underpinnings. Power is supplied by a 1.3-liter flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission, and the car is finished in beige and brown over tan upholstery. Equipment includes a tan-colored soft top and side curtains as well as driving lights, dual side mirrors, a fixed windshield, quad tailpipes, wire-style wheel covers, a rear-mounted spare tire, VDO gauges, and a Sony cassette stereo. The car was reportedly commissioned to be built when new by the current owner’s father-in-law, and the current owner acquired the vehicle in 2018. This TD replica is now offered on dealer consignment at no reserve in Delaware with a Pennsylvania title that describes the vehicle as a Special Construction sedan.

Fiberfab constructed a range of fiberglass-bodied assembled and kit cars beginning in the mid-1960s, and the MiGi and later MiGi II were 1970s kit-car replicas of the 1952 MG TD that featured steel-reinforced fiberglass bodies on Volkswagen Type 1 underpinnings. Features include beige paint and brown fender arches and running boards as well as driving lights, external horns, headlamp stone guards, a metal grille, grille badges, fender-mounted dual side mirrors, a fixed windshield, windshield wipers, turn signals, chrome bumpers, rear-hinged doors, a reverse light, oval taillamps, and quad tailpipes. A Fiberfab MiGi badge is found at the top of the grille beneath a Fiberfab MiGi II–branded simulated radiator thermometer.

Black 15” wheels with wire-style covers are shod in 165-series BFGoodrich Silvertown whitewall tires. A spare is attached to the rear of the car beneath a brown hard cover. Braking is provided by drums at all four corners.

The cabin houses a split bench seat trimmed in tan vinyl. Appointments include a passenger-side grab handle, door-panel map pockets, a dash-mounted rearview mirror, and a Sony cassette stereo.

The wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts VDO instrumentation consisting of a 85-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges monitoring engine temperature, fuel level, and amperage. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 26k miles, approximately 200 of which were added under current ownership.

The area beneath the front hood houses the fuel tank and the battery.

The rear-mounted air-cooled 1.3-liter VW flat-four directs power to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle. The oil was changed in preparation for the sale.

Additional underside images are presented in the gallery.

The car is titled to the number listed on the Maryland-issued plaque shown above, including the “AC” prefix and the “MD” suffix.

The Pennsylvania title describes the car as a Special Construction sedan and does not cite a model year.
