This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro convertible was acquired by the seller in 2010 and was subsequently refurbished and modified over a five-year period by Dick Guldstrand Performance of Burbank, California. Claimed by the seller to produce 480 horsepower, the GM Performance Ram Jet 350ci V8 was built with a port fuel-injection system, an Air Flow Research camshaft and cylinder heads, a billet serpentine drive system, and Hedman long-tube exhaust headers, and it is linked with a Richmond five-speed manual transmission. The car is finished in orange with white stripes over tan leather upholstery and is also equipped with a manually operated tan convertible top, SS badging, a cowl-induction hood, a rear spoiler, hideaway headlights, AutoMeter instrumentation, and a Hurst shifter as well as power steering, power-assisted Wilwood disc brakes, U.S. Mags 18″ wheels, Detroit Speed tubular front upper and lower control arms, adjustable Detroit Speed front coilovers, and a DeWitts aluminum radiator. This modified Camaro is now offered with a clean California title in the name of the seller’s LLC.

The car was disassembled before it was repainted orange with white stripes. The frame was powder coated black, and other details include a manually operated tan convertible top, SS badging, a cowl-induction hood, a rear spoiler, hideaway headlights, chrome bumpers, and polished exhaust finishers that exit behind the rear wheels. The left mirror is missing.

The 18″ U.S. Mags wheels are mounted with staggered-width Hankook Ventus V12 Evo 2 tires. The car has been fitted with Detroit Speed tubular front upper and lower control arms, adjustable Detroit Speed front coilovers, Detroit Speed multi-leaf rear springs, and Turn One power-assisted steering. Braking is handled by power-assisted Wilwood six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers over drilled and slotted rotors.

The cabin features bolstered bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in tan leather upholstery joined by a color-coordinated dashboard, center console, custom door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes a Hurst shifter and lap belts for all occupants.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames an AutoMeter Phantom 160-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 6k miles, all of which have been added since the refurbishment was completed under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

A Painless wiring harness and a DeWitts aluminum radiator with dual electric cooling fans has been fitted. An oil change was performed recently.
