No Reserve: 1986 Alfa Romeo Spider Graduate

This 1986 Alfa Romeo Spider is a black-over-black Graduate that shows 51k miles and is powered by a 2.0L twin-cam inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, four-wheel disc brakes, 14″ steel wheels, a black convertible soft top, a rear spoiler, bucket seats, and vent windows. The car reportedly remained registered in New York from new and was acquired by the seller in 2023 from its previous owner of 13 years. This S3 Spider Graduate is offered at no reserve with a clean Carfax report and a clean New York title in the seller’s name.

The Pininfarina-designed bodywork is finished in black. A replacement black soft top is fitted along with a front air dam, power-operated side mirrors, and a rear spoiler. Paint checking is noted on top of the front fenders and blemishes are visible on the bumpers and the front spoiler.

Silver-finished 14″ steel wheels wear bright trim rings and are mounted with a mixed set of 185/70 Goodyear and Caliente tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted discs at each corner.

The bucket seats are trimmed in Black leatherette. Graduate models were equipped with manual-crank side windows, and the car has a heater and a digital clock. The Blaupunkt cassette stereo displays a “CODE” readout and the shifter boot is improperly installed.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames Jaeger instrumentation consisting of a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer as well as gauges for oil pressure, voltage, fuel level, and coolant temperature. The six-digit odometer shows 51k miles, approximately 150 of which were added under current ownership.

The 2.0-liter DOHC inline-four features Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection for a factory rating of 115 horsepower and 110 lb-ft of torque. The spark plugs were changed in preparation for the sale.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
