This 1996 Jaguar XJS 2+2 Celebration Edition convertible was first delivered to Jaguar of Troy in Michigan, and it was purchased new by the seller’s parents. It shows 34k miles following registration history in Michigan and Florida. Finished in Carnival Red over Coffee leather, the car is powered by a 4.0-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, fog lights, a power-retractable beige soft top, chrome-finished 18″ Arelli Y-spoke wheels, heated power-adjustable front sport seats, a cassette stereo, cruise control, and automatic climate control. This XJS convertible is now offered with a window sticker, a top boot, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Carnival Red and features a power-retractable beige soft top as well as fog lights, a Jaguar growler hood emblem, dual exhaust outlets, and a telescoping antenna. The trunk lid and rear spoiler have been repainted, and cracks are evident on a taillight as well as the windshield and front spoiler. Photos included in the gallery detail imperfections and dents on the body.

This is a relist after the vehicle was previously sold on BaT in April 2024 and the winning bidder failed to follow through with their commitment to purchase. This was not due to any fault with the vehicle. The winner’s participation on BaT has been restricted and their buyer’s fee was not refunded.

The chrome-finished 18″ Arelli Y-spoke wheels are mounted with Toyo Proxes FZ4 tires. A torn sidewall is detailed in the gallery, and the seller notes that the tires need to be replaced. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes. The dampers were reportedly replaced in 2022.

The cabin features heated power-adjustable front sport seats and two rear bucket seats upholstered in Coffee leather with cream piping. Interior amenities include walnut trim, a cassette stereo, cruise control, and automatic climate control. The air conditioning condenser was replaced in 2022, per the seller.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 34k miles.

The 4.0-liter inline-six was factory rated at 237 horsepower and 282 lb-ft of torque.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.

The window sticker shows initial delivery to Jaguar of Troy in Michigan and lists factory colors, equipment, and a total suggested retail price of $62,450.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
