This 2001 BMW Z3 3.0i remained in the care of its original owner until it was acquired by the selling dealer earlier this year. Finished in Jet Black over Dream Red and black chameleon leather, the car is powered by a 3.0-liter inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes 17″ Style 42 alloy wheels, Dynamic Stability Control, a black convertible soft top, a removable hardtop, heated seats, a ZHP-style shift knob, a BMW Business CD stereo, a Harman Kardon sound system, cruise control, and air conditioning. This Z3 has 103k miles and is now offered by the selling dealer with the owner’s manual, a hardtop cover, and a Pennsylvania title.

The car is finished in Jet Black and features a power-operated black convertible soft top, a removable hardtop, fog lights, flared wheel arches, front fender vents, and dual exhaust outlets. Photos in the gallery show wear and loose stitching on the soft top as well as scrapes and imperfections on the body.

The 17″ Style 42 alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires, which show date codes from 2022. The car is equipped with Dynamic Stability Control, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with ventilated front rotors. The brake fluid was reportedly flushed in April 2024.

The cabin features two heated bucket seats trimmed in a two-tone scheme of Dream Red and black chameleon leather, and matching leather extends to the center console and door panel inserts. Amenities include wood trim, a BMW Business CD stereo, a Harman Kardon sound system, cruise control, and air conditioning. A weighted ZHP-style shift knob and iPod connectivity have been added, and the seat bushings were replaced in preparation for the sale.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 155-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,200-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 103k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership.

The 3.0-liter M54B30 inline-six was factory rated at 225 horsepower and 214 lb-ft of torque. Work in April 2024 is said to have included an oil change, a coolant flush, and replacing the valve cover gasket and spark plugs.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. The transmission and differential fluids were reportedly replaced in preparation for the sale.

The Carfax report is free from accidents or other damage, and it notes a “Failed Safety Inspection” in a March 2024 entry.
