This 2004 Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG is a Mars Red-finished example that was initially sold by Quality Imports of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, prior to being purchased by the seller in 2019. Powered by a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission, the car has gray leather upholstery, a power-retractable hardtop, bi-xenon headlights, 19″ AMG two-piece wheels, parking sensors, Keyless-Go, heated and ventilated multi-contour seats, a Bose sound system, and COMAND with navigation. This R230 is now offered with a car cover, a Carfax report, and a clean Nevada title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Mars Red and has a power-folding convertible hardtop. Additional details include bi-xenon headlights, fog lights, fender air vents, front and rear parking sensors, bright trim, and AMG bodywork including a revised front spoiler, side skirts, and quad exhaust outlets. The leather-trimmed steering wheel frames an SL63-sourced instrument cluster that consists of a 200-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer shows 35k miles, and total mileage is unknown.
The supercharged 5.4-liter M113 V8 was factory rated at 493 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
