This 2006 Porsche 911 Carrera cabriolet was purchased in June 2007 by its second owner, who added approximately 45k of the 49k indicated miles before placing the car into long-term storage with the seller beginning in 2009. The car was removed from storage within the last year, and a subsequent engine-out service for the 3.6-liter flat-six totaled roughly $27k and included replacing the water pump, fuel pump, fuel injectors, engine belts, ignition coils, spark plugs, and brake components. The Cocoa cabriolet top hydraulic system was also overhauled at that time. The car was specified in GT Silver Metallic over Cocoa Natural leather, and it was optioned with bi-xenon headlights, heated power-adjustable front seats, and a Bose audio system with a trunk-mounted CD changer. This 997.1 cabriolet is equipped with a Tiptronic transaxle, and it is now offered at no reserve with the owner’s manual, service records, a recent invoice, a DME report, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in GT Silver Metallic (LM7Z) and features include a Cocoa convertible soft top, bi-xenon headlights, fog lights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, dual exhaust outlets with polished finishers, and a speed-activated rear spoiler. The right rocker panel has been refinished, and the cabriolet top mechanism was overhauled in April 2024.
The 18″ five-spoke wheels are mounted with Bridgestone Potenza Sport tires that were fitted in December 2023. The car is equipped with Porsche Stability Management (PSM), an automatic brake differential (ABD), and Anti Slip Regulation (ASR). Braking is handled by four-piston monoblock calipers over vented and cross-drilled discs, and work in preparation for the sale included replacing the rear brake rotors as well as the pads at all four corners.
The cabin is upholstered in Cocoa Natural leather, and the seats have supple leather center inserts. Optional interior equipment consists of a Bose sound system, a trunk-mounted CD changer, and heating and full power-adjustment for the front seats. The right-rear window regulator was replaced in preparation for the sale.
The steering wheel frames a central tachometer and a 200-mph speedometer along with gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 49k miles.
The 3.6-liter M96 flat-six was factory rated at 325 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. A photograph of a DME readout is presented in the gallery below, and an April 2024 invoice in the gallery below lists cylinder leakdown readings and borescope results.
The invoice shown above dates from April 2024 and details an engine-out service with work totaling approximately $27k. The water pump, fuel pump, fuel injectors, engine belts, ignition coils, and spark plugs were all replaced.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed Tiptronic S automatic transaxle that was serviced in December 2023.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or damage.
