This 1986 Alfa Romeo Spider Graduate spent time in California through the late owner’s acquisition in April 1992. It is powered by a 2.0L twin-cam inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transmission and is finished in Alfa Red over Black leather. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, four-wheel disc brakes, 14″ alloy wheels, a black convertible soft top, a rear spoiler, bucket seats, an AM/FM cassette stereo, and vent windows. This S3 Spider Graduate is offered with an owner’s manual, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the name of the late owner’s trust.
The Pininfarina-designed bodywork is finished in Alfa Red (AR530) and features a front air dam, power-operated side mirrors, and a rear spoiler. Close-up photos presented in the gallery show a crack in the rear window of the black convertible soft top, a ding and chips in the paint along the right side of the car, and scratches on the rear bumper.
The 14″ Campagnolo Daytona alloy wheels are mounted with older 185/70 Michelin X-One tires showing cracks on the sidewalls. Braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel discs.
The bucket seats are trimmed in black leather, and amenities include vent windows, a digital clock, a Kenwood AM/FM cassette stereo, a carpeted dash cover, and red Alfa Romeo-branded floor mats.
The three-spoke wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Jaeger instrumentation consisting of a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer as well as gauges for oil pressure, voltage, fuel level, and coolant temperature. The six-digit odometer shows 47k miles.
The 2.0-liter DOHC inline-four was factory rated at 115 horsepower and 110 lb-ft of torque and features Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection. The car passed a California emissions inspection in October 2023.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The clutch chatters upon initial engagement and the clutch fluid was reportedly changed in June 2023.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in California from the initial entry in June 1991.
