This 1990 Ford Mustang LX convertible is one of 4,103 7-Up Edition vehicles produced for the model year. Now showing 29k miles, it was first delivered to Bob Bell Ford in Glen Burnie, Maryland, and it was purchased by the seller in June 2015. It is powered by a 302ci V8 paired with a five-speed manual transmission and is finished in Deep Emerald Green Metallic over white leather. Equipment includes a white convertible soft top, a luggage rack, 15″ alloy wheels, a limited-slip differential, a rear spoiler, front sport seats, air conditioning, cruise control, and a cassette stereo. This 7-Up-Edition Mustang LX convertible is now offered with a window sticker, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Michigan title in the seller’s name.

The 7-Up edition vehicles were intended to be used as promotional giveaways during the 1990 NCAA basketball championship. The promotion was canceled, but Ford opted to produce matching models and make them available for sale to the public. Each example was finished in Deep Emerald Green Metallic (PA) with a white soft top. Additional features include body-color side moldings, a fixed antenna, and a rear luggage rack.

The 15″ alloy wheels are mounted with Goodyear Eagle VR60 tires. Standard equipment included a Handling Suspension Package featuring variable-rate springs and a Quadra-Shock rear setup along with power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.

The cabin features articulated front sport seats and a rear bench upholstered in white leather. Amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, a cassette stereo, and power windows and door locks.

The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,800-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 29k miles, approximately 9k of which were added under current ownership. The Carfax report lists an odometer reading of 115k miles in a May 1990 entry, which may be due to a clerical error. The original sale invoice and odometer disclosure statement showing 1,148 miles can be viewed in the image gallery below.

The 302ci V8 was factory rated at 225 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.

The window sticker lists initial delivery to Bob Bell Ford in Glen Burnie, Maryland, along with factory equipment, colors, and a total price of $19,902.

The Carfax report is free from accidents or other reported damage.
