This 1973 Cadillac Eldorado convertible had one owner before it was acquired from an estate by its current owner in 2021. Finished in metallic green with a beige soft top over Sandalwood leather, it has an AM/FM stereo, automatic climate control, power windows and locks, and power-adjustable front seats. Its 500ci V8 and TH425 three-speed automatic transmission were overhauled in 2022, and its power steering was serviced in October 2023. This Eldorado convertible shows 92k miles and is offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with service records, spare parts, and a clean Wisconsin title in the owner’s name.
Finished at the factory in Forest Green Metallic (49), the car is said to have been repainted in the 1980s, and it has multicolor custom pinstripes and flourishes. Equipment includes a power-operated Hideaway convertible top, a power antenna, a thermometer in the left mirror assembly, and rear fender skirts. Areas of bubbling paint are noted between the trunk lid and convertible top, and fiberglass parade tonneau covers are included in the sale.
Steel 15″ wheels wear full covers and 225/75 Cooper Trendsetter SE thin-whitewall tires. Automatic Level Control suspension and variable-ratio power steering were fitted at the factory, and the power steering pump was replaced in October 2023.
The power-adjustable Dual Comfort front bench is trimmed in Antique Light Sandalwood Sierra-grain leather, and the six-passenger cabin has an AM/FMstereo, automatic climate control, cruise control, and power windows and locks. The clock in the dashboard and the outside temperature gauge do not work.
A color-coordinated steering wheel frames the 120-mph speedometer, which has a five-digit odometer that shows 92k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership.
Factory rated at 235 horsepower and 385 lb-ft of torque, the 500ci V8 was overhauled in 2022 by Baker Engineering of Nunica, Michigan, which also refurbished the TH425 three-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the front wheels. The seller reports a 10.2:1 compression ratio.
