This 2003 Lexus SC430 has remained registered with the seller’s family in Florida since new, and it now has 37k miles. Powered by a 4.3-liter V8 mated to a five-speed automatic transmission, the car is finished in Twilight Amethyst Pearl over Ecru leather. It has a power-retractable hardtop, a rear spoiler, HID headlights, fog lights, 18″ wheels, heated power-adjustable front seats, navigation, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, a Mark Levinson sound system, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo with an in-dash CD changer. This SC430 is now offered by the seller with a Carfax report and a clean Florida title.

The SC430 replaced the SC300/400 sport coupes and was only available as a convertible with a body-color power-retractable hardtop. This example is finished in Twilight Amethyst Pearl (3P6) and features HID headlights, fog lights, a rear decklid spoiler, power-adjustable side mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets. A January 2015 entry in the Carfax report lists damage to the front, left side, and left-rear portion of the car. Scratches, scuffs, and blemishes around the exterior are viewable in the gallery below.

The 18″ dish-style five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with 245/40 Bridgestone Potenza RE040 tires. The car is equipped with traction control and four-wheel independent double-wishbone suspension, and braking is handled by four-wheel disc brakes with ventilated front rotors. The steering angle sensor was replaced in February 2019. Curb marks are visible on the wheels.

The cabin seating surfaces are upholstered in Ecru leather, while wood trim accents the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Amenities include heated and power-adjustable front bucket seats, front-seat position memory, twin rear seats, navigation, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, a nine-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo with an in-dash six-disc CD changer. The upholstery on the bottom of the driver’s seat is torn, there are scratches on the navigation screen, and discoloration and wear are present on the right-front seat, center armrest, and left-front floor mat.

The wood- and leather-trimmed steering wheel fronts a 180-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 37k miles.

The 4.3-liter 3UZ-FE V8 features dual overhead camshafts as well as VVT-i variable valve timing. Factory-rated output was 300 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque when new. Service in February 2021 included the replacement of the starter, battery, and intake manifold gaskets. The seller states that an electrical short near the overhead map lights has been repaired.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed automatic transmission.

The Carfax report shows the aforementioned damage report along with history in Florida through the most recent update in June 2021.
