This red and black 1963 Austin-Healey 3000 BJ7 Mk II is a non-running project equipped with a 2.9-liter inline-six, a four-speed manual transmission, black vinyl upholstery, a black soft top, 15″ knock-off wire wheels, front disc brakes, and a luggage rack. This 3000 Mk IIA was purchased by the owner’s husband in 1984 and is now offered at no reserve on the owner’s behalf with a manual, spare parts, and a clean Oregon title.

The car is finished in red and black and is equipped with an aftermarket luggage rack, exterior door locks, and quad front indicator lights. The condition of the soft top, brightwork, and paint is detailed in the gallery below.

The painted 15″ 60-spoke knock-off wire wheels are corroded and the tires need to be replaced. The BJ7 was equipped with front disc brakes.

The seats are upholstered in black vinyl, and the condition of the interior is documented in the gallery.

Aftermarket Niehoff gauges flank the Smiths speedometer and tachometer and the Smiths fuel level gauge is mounted in place of the ignition switch. The five-digit odometer shows 70k miles.

The 2.9-liter inline-six is equipped with dual SU HS6 carburetors and does not run.

The car is equipped with a four-speed manual transmission and a Laycock-de Normanville overdrive.
