This 1968 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia convertible was acquired by the seller in August 1996 and underwent refurbishment in 1999. It is powered by an air-cooled 1,776cc flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle and has been refinished in pearl white over black vinyl and blue cloth upholstery. Equipment includes 15″ Fuchs-style wheels, front disc brakes, an EMPI shifter, and a Kenwood CD stereo in addition to a serpentine belt conversion, dual carburetors, and a merged header exhaust system. This Karmann Ghia convertible is now offered with a tool kit and a clean Louisiana title in the seller’s name.

The convertible body was reportedly refinished in Lexus Pearl White Circa 1999 and features a black convertible soft top and boot cover as well as dual mirrors, and chrome bumpers with overriders. Fuchs-style 15″ wheels are mounted with 165/80 Nexen SB-802 tires that were installed in 2023. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.

The front bucket seats and folding rear bench are trimmed in black vinyl with blue cloth inserts and are joined by matching door panels and black carpeting. Interior elements include a center console, Coco mats, an EMPI trigger shifter, and a Kenwood CD stereo.

The two-spoke steering wheel wears a chrome horn ring with a Wolfsburg crest center cap and frames a 90-mph VDO speedometer, a fuel-level gauge, and a Kienzle analog clock. A tachometer and an oil temperature readout are mounted below the dashboard. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 22k miles, approximately 20k of which have been added under current ownership. True mileage is unknown.
