This 2001 Plymouth Prowler was held in a private collection before it was acquired by the seller in 2014, and it now has 6k miles. The 3.5-liter V6 is paired with a four-speed automatic transaxle, and the car was ordered in Prowler Orange over Agate leather. Appointments include staggered-diameter chrome wheels, a black soft top, air conditioning, cruise control, and an Infinity sound system. The fuel pump and front coilovers were replaced in 2023. This Prowler was listed on BaT in October 2024 and is now offered at no reserve again in Indiana with an owner’s manual, two sets of keys, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean Montana title in the name of the seller’s business.
The body is finished in Prowler Orange and features cycle-style front fenders, split front and rear bumpers with integrated lights, a black manually operated convertible top that stows in the rear-hinged trunk, and dual exhaust outlets.
Chrome-finished five-spoke wheels measure 17″ up front and 20″ out back, and they are mounted with 225/45 and 295/40 Goodyear Eagle GS-D tires, respectively. The coilovers mounted inboard of the narrow front bodywork were replaced in 2023, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel ventilated discs. The bucket seats are upholstered in Agate leather with embossed Prowler logos on the seatbacks. Amenities includes air conditioning, cruise control, an Infinity sound system, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo paired with a CD changer.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel with a Prowler logo sits ahead a body-color instrument panel housing a 150-mph speedometer as well as gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. An AutoMeter tachometer is mounted to the steering column, and the AutoStick shifter allows manual gear selection for the automatic transaxle. The digital odometer indicates 6k miles, approximately 150 of which were added under current ownership.
The 3.5-liter V6 features an aluminum block and was factory rated at 253 horsepower and 255 lb-ft of torque. The fuel pump was replaced in June 2023.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a torque tube and a rear-mounted four-speed automatic transaxle.
