This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was fitted with a replacement 327ci V8 in 2016 and repainted in black in 2018. It was acquired by the seller in 2021, and subsequent work included replacing the steering wheel and instrument cluster and installing an aftermarket stereo system. Additional equipment includes a rebuilt four-speed manual transmission, a Positraction differential, a black convertible soft top, 15″ Rally wheels, power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, side-exit exhaust pipes, power steering, a cabin heater, chrome bumpers, and retractable headlights. This C2 is now offered with service records and a clean New Hampshire title in the seller’s name.

The fiberglass body was factory-finished in Goodwood Green (983) and was refinished in black in 2018. Cracks in the bodywork were repaired. Features include a black convertible soft top, a domed hood, retractable headlights, chrome split bumperettes, fender vents, a driver-side mirror, an extended antenna, and a side-exit exhaust system with heat shields.

The 15″ Rally wheels wear chrome trim rings and center caps and are mounted with 215/70 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The front suspension was rebuilt in 2016, and additional work included replacing the power steering hoses and the power brake booster, master cylinder, and brake lines. The rear brakes and shocks were replaced in 2019.

The cabin features two bucket seats reupholstered in black as well as color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Work in 2021 involved installing a replacement analog clock, vent window regulator, door locks,  turn signal switch, and an aftermarket stereo system with a Kenwood marine receiver, Bluetooth connectivity, an amplifier, subwoofer, and 3.5″ and 6×9″ speakers. Amenities include a heater, a vertical push-button AM/FM radio, Corvette Sting Ray-branded floor mats, and lap belts.

The wood-rimmed steering wheel and replacement instrument cluster were installed in 2021. The five-digit odometer shows 12k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

A rebuilt 327ci L79 V8 was installed in 2016 under previous ownership, and it is equipped with a Holley four-barrel carburetor.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction differential. The transmission is said to have been rebuilt in 2016.

Decoding the trim tag reveals:

  • Style 67 467 – 1967 Corvette convertible
  • Body S6638 – St. Louis body number
  • Trim 455 – White and Black vinyl upholstery
  • Paint 983 – Goodwood Green
