This 1974 Triumph TR6 received refurbishment work that involved overhauling the suspension and brakes, repainting the body white, and replacing the black soft top and top boot, windows, and rubber seals before the seller’s 2018 acquisition. It is powered by a 2.5-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission and is equipped with dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors, a Tourist Trophy stainless-steel exhaust system, silver 15″ steel wheels, a wood dashboard and shift knob, and a push-button radio. This TR6 is offered with service records and a clean North Carolina title in the seller’s name.

Finished from the factory in White (19), the body was repainted in approximately 2017 and features a red front stripe, a replacement black soft top and top boot, dual side mirrors, a plastic air dam, and Union Jack decals. Work under prior ownership is said to have involved refinishing the windshield frame and replacing the windows and rubber seals.

Silver 15″ steel wheels wear polished trim rings and are mounted with 185-series Coker Classic red-line tires. Stopping power is provided by front disc and rear drum brakes. The seller states that service prior to their acquisition included replacing the shock absorbers, trailing arm bushings, steering coupler, brake booster, master cylinder, and rear wheel cylinders and lines.

The bucket seats are upholstered in black vinyl and interior appointments include a wood dashboard panel and shift knob, a push-button radio, a locking glovebox, and a heater. Work under previous ownership reportedly involved repainting the floors, applying insulation material to the firewall, doors, and floors, and replacing the trunk panels and carpets.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 140-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer while gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage are positioned in the center of the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 51k miles, approximately 4k of which were added under current ownership.

The 2.5-liter inline-six features dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors and was factory rated at 101 horsepower and 128 lb-ft of torque. The seller notes that the engine would benefit from a tune-up.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The car is equipped with a Tourist Trophy stainless-steel exhaust system.

Service records will accompany the car.
