The current owner acquired the car in 2016, and work in preparation for the sale consisted of replacing the tires, spark plugs, drive belts, and air filter. This 997.2 Turbo S cabriolet has 11k miles and is now offered on dealer consignment as part of the Gruppe P Collection with a window sticker, the owner’s manual, service records, and a clean North Carolina title.
The car is finished in black and features a matching soft top. Additional equipment includes bi-xenon headlights, fog lights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, side air intakes, and flared quarter panels. Paint meter readings are provided in the gallery.
The 19″ RS Spyder forged wheels were mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires in October 2024, and they measure 235/35 up front and 305/30 out back. Braking is handled by Porsche-branded six- and four-piston yellow-finished calipers over ceramic-composite rotors measuring 15″ and 13.8″ front and rear, respectively. The car is equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as well as Porsche Stability Management (PSM) with an automatic brake differential (ABD).
The cabin features heated and ventilated power-adjustable front seats upholstered in black leather that extends to the dashboard and door panels. Features include auto-dimming mirrors, driver-seat memory settings, Porsche Communication Management with navigation, a Bose sound system, a remote six-disc CD changer, automatic climate control, and cruise control.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel is equipped with paddle shifters and frames a central tachometer and a 225-mph speedometer, as well as gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The Sport Chrono Package added a stopwatch atop the dashboard. The digital odometer indicates 11k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership.
The twin-turbocharged 3.8L flat-six features direct fuel injection, VarioCam variable valve timing, and dynamic engine mounts. It was factory rated at 530 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. Work in preparation for the sale involved changing the oil and coolant and replacing the drive belts, spark plugs, and air filter.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transaxle. The 997 Turbo S featured Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) and a mechanically locking rear differential as standard.
The window sticker lists factory equipment, colors, and a total price of $175,270.
