This 1998 Mercedes-Benz SLK230 Kompressor was purchased new by the seller’s parents, and it has 48k miles following registration history in North Carolina. It is powered by a supercharged 2.3-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed automatic transmission and is finished in Imperial Red over Charcoal leather. Equipment includes a body-color retractable hardtop, 16″ seven-hole alloy wheels, Automatic Slip Control, a Bose sound system, and dual-zone climate control. This R170 is now offered at no reserve with a window sticker, the owner’s manual, and a clean North Carolina title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Imperial Red (582) and features heated power-adjustable side mirrors, a heated rear window, and fog lights. The Carfax report indicates that an August 2008 accident involving “a front or rear impact” resulted in “very minor” damage to the rear-right corner. The power-retractable hardtop’s hydraulic cylinders were replaced in 2021. The front-right side marker lens is broken.

The 16″ seven-hole alloy wheels are mounted with Continental ExtremeContact tires. The car is equipped with an independent front and rear multilink suspension as well as Automatic Slip Control (ASR). Stopping power is provided by four-wheel ventilated discs. The brake fluid was changed in July 2024.

The six-way manually adjustable seats are upholstered in Charcoal leather, and interior amenities include carbon-fiber-look trim, aluminum door sill inserts, a Bose sound system, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, roll bar hoops, and dual-zone climate control. The headliner was replaced in 2021. The driver door’s map pocket is torn, cracks are present on the console, and staining is evident on the dashboard and center stack.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames silver-dial instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 48k miles.

The supercharged 2.3-liter inline-four was factory rated at 185 horsepower and 200 lb-ft of torque. Work this year included replacing the battery, starter motor, and drive belts.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission.

The window sticker lists factory equipment, colors, and a total retail price of $40,295.

The Carfax report shows the aforementioned accident.
