1959 Mercedes-Benz 190SL

This 1959 Mercedes-Benz 190SL was refurbished under previous ownership in the mid-2010s with work involving a repaint in ivory, a rebuild of the 1.9-liter inline-four, and overhauls of the twin Solex carburetors as well as the power-assisted drum brakes. The car features a tan soft top as well as bright bumpers with overriders and 13″ wheels with body-color hubcaps. Inside, red leather–trimmed bucket seats are accompanied by a color-coordinated top boot along with a Blaupunkt radio and VDO instrumentation. Acquired by the current owner in 2021, this 190SL is now offered on dealer consignment with refurbishment records and an Arizona title in the owner’s name.

An ivory-finished steering wheel with a bright horn ring frames VDO instrumentation including a 140-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer as well as gauges for oil pressure, water temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 65k miles, approximately 1k of which have been added under current ownership. The title carries a “not actual” notation in the Odometer Reading section, and true mileage is unknown.
