This 1998 Mercedes-Benz SL500 is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission and is finished in Imperial Red over beige leather upholstery. Features include a removable hardtop, a black soft top, 18″ two-piece alloy wheels, fog lights, heated power-adjustable seats, a Bose sound system, a cassette stereo, and automatic climate control. Acquired by the selling dealer in 2023, this R129 has 81k miles and is offered at no reserve with a clean Carfax report and a clean Wisconsin title.

The car is finished in Imperial Red (582) and features a matching removable hardtop and a black soft top that was installed in 2016 with replacement hydraulic cylinders. Additional exterior equipment includes fog lights, painted mirror caps, and fender air vents. There are paint chips on the front of the car, and the antenna does not work. Close-up photographs of the exterior finish and trim are shown in the gallery below.

The 18″ two-piece alloy wheels are said to have been sourced from a Silver Arrow example, and they are mounted with a mixed set of Continental and Michelin tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with ABS.

The heated power-adjustable seats are upholstered in beige leather, and burl wood accents the doors and center stack. Amenities include a deployable roll bar, seat position memory, a Bose sound system, a heated rear hardtop window, a cassette stereo, cruise control, and automatic climate control.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel economy, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 81k miles.

The 5.0-liter M119 V8 was factory-rated at 315 horsepower and 347 lb-ft of torque.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
