This 1957 Ford Thunderbird was acquired by the seller in 2020 and modified and refurbished from 2020 to 2024 by Orange County Hot Rods of Corona, California. A 6.2-liter LS3 V8, a four-speed automatic transmission, a 9″ rear end, an Art Morrison chassis, a four-link rear, coilovers, Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, rack-and-pinion steering, staggered-diameter Foose chrome wheels, and smoothed front and rear bumpers were installed. The custom interior has beige leather, tan microsuede accents, velour carpeting, power windows, Vintage Air climate control, power-adjustable seats, and an Alpine infotainment system. This modified Thunderbird is now offered with refurbishment records and photos and a clean California title in the seller’s spouse’s name.

The body was removed from the frame and refinished in light blue, and the chrome trim, fuel filler door, and fender vents were shaved. Additional modifications include a billet front grille, smoothed front and rear bumpers, body-color side mirrors, and a pop-up fuel filler on top of the right quarter panel. The car also has a matching removable hardtop with porthole windows, a replacement soft top, fender skirts, a Thunderbird hood emblem, and slanted tail fins.

Foose 17 and 18″ chrome wheels are mounted with Continental ExtremeContact tires measuring 215/50 up front and 235/50 out back. Suspension components include a four-link rear and coilovers at all four corners. The car is also equipped with power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering and Wilwood disc brakes with cross-drilled and slotted rotors.

The cabin was overhauled with power-adjustable bucket seats trimmed in Ferrari beige leather, which extends to the dash, center console, and door panels with tan microsuede accents. Additional appointments include a tan microsuede headliner, imported German velour carpeting, power windows, Vintage Air climate control, heat insulation, Alpine infotainment, and a custom-trimmed trunk,

The flat-bottom steering wheel frames aftermarket instrumentation. The digital odometer indicates 547 miles, approximately 300 of which were added under current ownership.

The 6.2-liter LS3 V8 was installed in 2020, and the painted firewall and engine covers were installed in September 2023.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a 9″ rear end.

Refurbishment photos and records for work totaling over $339k are shown in the gallery.
