This 1967 Alfa Romeo 1600 Spider Duetto was acquired by the current owner in 2009, and a cosmetic refurbishment that was completed in 2023 involved refinishing the car in light green, installing a replacement black soft top, and refreshing the black interior. Power is provided by a 1,570cc inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transmission that are reported to have been rebuilt in 2000. Service in preparation for the sale involved replacing the throwout bearing, fuel-sending unit, oil pressure-sending unit, and front brake calipers. The car has 15″ steel wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, dual fender-mounted mirrors, and a Blaupunkt push-button radio. This S1 Spider is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with partial service records and a clean California title in the owner’s name describing the car as a 1968 model.

Steel 15″ wheels are mounted with 165-series Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted discs at each corner. The front calipers were rebuilt and the front pads were replaced in October 2024.
The refreshed cabin houses bucket seats trimmed in black vinyl along with color-coordinated door panels and carpets. A Blaupunkt AM/FM radio and a cabin heater are installed.
Instrumentation consists of a 140-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 54k miles, approximately 2,500 of which were added under current ownership. The speedometer cable was replaced in 2019.
The 1,570cc inline-four was factory rated at 125 horsepower and 115 lb-ft of torque and was reportedly rebuilt in 2000. The fuel-sending unit and the oil pressure-sending unit were replaced in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission, which is said to have been rebuilt at the same time as the engine. The throwout bearing was replaced and the link bushing was repaired in October 2024.
