This Porsche 356 Speedster replica was ordered new by the seller from Vintage Motorcars of Hawaiian Gardens, California, in 2024 and has 674 miles. It is powered by a 2,332cc air-cooled flat-four linked to a four-speed manual transaxle and finished in black with black diamond-stitched leather. Equipment includes a black convertible soft top, side curtains, and boot cover in addition to 15″ chrome wheels, an adjustable front axle beam, four-wheel disc brakes, a single grille decklid, teardrop taillights, Coco mats, a Vintage Speed shifter, lap belts, and a retro-style radio. This 356 Speedster replica is now offered by the seller with a clean Colorado title listing it as a 1974 Volkswagen.

The fiberglass body is fitted over a modified Volkswagen chassis and is finished in black with a color-coordinated convertible soft top, side curtains, and boot cover. Exterior details include dual side-view mirrors, gold-finished Porsche 1600 Super badging, a single grille decklid, teardrop taillights, and body-color bumpers with rub strips.

Chrome 15″ wheels wear matching hubcaps with full-color Porsche crests and are mounted with 195/65 MOMO Outrun M20 tires. An adjustable front axle beam has been fitted, and stopping is provided by four-wheel disc brakes.

The fixed-back bucket seats are trimmed in black diamond-stitched leather and fitted with lap belts. Black leather also adorns the dashboard pad, door panels, shifter boot, and rear parcel shelf. A parking brake handle and a retro-style radio are mounted below the dashboard, and additional interior elements include charcoal square-weave carpeting, Coco mats, heated seats, a Vintage Speed shifter, chrome door pulls, and an adjustable height rearview mirror.

The wood-rimmed steering wheel wears a Porsche-crest horn button and frames a central tachometer flanked by a 120-mph speedometer and a combination gauge for fuel level and temperature. The digital odometer shows 674 miles.

The 2,332cc air-cooled flat-four utilizes a full-flow oiling system and has been fitted with a Kadron-style dual carburetor kit, electronic ignition, and a Euro two-tip exhaust with J-tubes.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle. Additional underside images are presented in the gallery below. The starter was replaced in 2024.

Chassis number 1442610711 shown above is consistent with a 1974 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia and matches the VIN listed on the Colorado title, which describes the vehicle as a 1974 Volkswagen with an “Exempt” remark under the odometer status.
