This 1975 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible was purchased new at Long Cadillac of St. Paul, Minnesota, and reportedly remained in the same family until the selling dealer’s 2024 acquisition. A 500ci V8 sends power to the front wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission, and the car is finished in white over burgundy leather. Equipment includes a white convertible soft top, a parade boot, 15″ steel wheels, polished wheel covers, Twilight Sentinel automatic headlights, and an AM/FM stereo as well as a rear window defroster, an illuminated thermometer, automatic climate control, cruise control, power windows, and power-adjustable front seats. This Eldorado Convertible shows 88k miles and is offered by the selling dealer in Wisconsin with manufacturer’s literature, service records, and a clean Minnesota title.
The car is finished in Cotillion White (11) with red pinstriping and a power-operated white convertible soft top along with a bug shield, mudflaps, a power antenna, remote-controlled side mirrors, fender-mounted light monitors, and chrome bumpers. A color-coordinated hard parade boot with a storage bag is included in the sale.
The 15″ steel wheels have bright covers and are mounted with 235/75 SureTrac Power Touring whitewall tires. The Eldorado featured a torsion bar front suspension and a coil-sprung solid rear axle along with Automatic Level Control, power brakes, and power steering. The front brake calipers and hoses were replaced in 2021.
The power-adjustable front bench and the rear bench are trimmed in Antique Dark Crimson Sierra Grain leather, and amenities include an AM/FM stereo, a rear window defroster, an illuminated thermometer, cruise control, automatic climate control, Twilight Sentinel automatic headlights, power door locks, and power windows. The dimmer switch was replaced in 2021 and the windshield washer system was repaired.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer. The five-digit odometer shows 88k miles.
The 500ci V8 has a Rochester Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor and was factory rated at 210 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque. Power is routed to the front wheels via a Turbo Hydra-Matic three-speed automatic transmission. Work in 2021 consisted of replacing the battery, fuel pump, sending unit, and related hoses as well as lining the fuel tank, changing the oil, and changing the transmission fluid and filter.
