This 1970 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia convertible was acquired by the selling dealer in 2023 and was repainted gray in 2024. The car is powered by a 2,175cc flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle, and additional equipment includes a maroon soft top, a Nardi steering wheel, Procar seats, a Hurst shifter, and 15″ Fuchs-style wheels. This Karmann Ghia convertible is now offered by the selling dealer with a clean North Carolina title.

The car was repainted gray in 2024 and features a maroon convertible top, a vented decklid, and chrome “towel bar” bumpers.

The 15″ EMPI wheels are mounted with 185/65 Goodyear Assurance all-season tires. The seller states the brakes and suspension components were replaced in 2024.

The cabin features Procar front bucket seats upholstered in black leatherette along with a matching rear bench. Interior appointments include a Hurst shifter, front seatbelts, a locking glovebox, a radio blanking plate, and pleated door pockets.

The wood-rimmed Nardi steering wheel fronts VDO instrumentation including a 90-mph speedometer, a fuel-level gauge, and a tachometer. The five-digit odometer shows 20k miles, a handful of which were added by the selling dealer. Total mileage is unknown.

The replacement flat-four reportedly displaces 2,175cc and features a stroker crankshaft, dual carburetors, and a breather box.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Pro-Street four-speed manual transaxle built by Wright Transmissions. The transaxle features an aluminum side cover and welded 3rd and 4th gear hubs. The clutch is said to have been replaced in 2014.
