This 1970 MGB Roadster spent time in New Hampshire before it was acquired by the seller in 2016. It was refinished in green over replacement black upholstery under previous ownership, and it is powered by a replacement 1.8-liter inline-four that was installed in 2017 along with a replacement clutch. The car features a four-speed manual gearbox with overdrive in addition to a black soft top, a luggage rack, a driver-side mirror, 14″ wire-spoke wheels, a radio blanking plate, crank windows, and MG-branded floor mats. This MGB is offered at no reserve with service records, spare and removed parts, and New Hampshire registration in the names of the seller and their partner.

The floor pans were replaced in 2008, while work in 2010 included replacing the front valance and various exterior seals along with refinishing the car in green. Features include a decklid luggage rack, a black soft top, a driver-side mirror, and chrome-finished bumpers with overriders. The seller notes that rust repairs were performed in the engine bay and inner fender in 2016, while corrosion in the trunk was treated with Rust-Oleum Rust Reformer and repainted in preparation for the sale. The top boot is ripped on the left side, and photos of blemishes and corrosion on various panels can be viewed in the gallery below.

Wire-spoke 14″ wheels with knock-off hubs were mounted with 185/70 Blacklion Cilerro BH15 tires in 2017, and the tie rod ends and front wheel bearings were replaced in the same year. Braking is provided by front discs and rear drums, and the seller notes that the brakes are difficult to apply.

The seat cushion supports were replaced in 2013, at which time the seats were reupholstered in black. Appointments include crank windows, MG-branded floor mats, and a center console with storage under the armrest. Work in 2016 included replacing the door panels, repairing the passenger-seat mounting bolts, and installing a radio blanking plate and three-point seatbelts. Service records indicate that the car requires a replacement heater cable.

The wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts Smiths instrumentation including a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges displaying oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 28k miles, approximately 4k of which were added under current ownership. The seller states that the mileage is inaccurate, and the total mileage is unknown.

The replacement 1.8-liter inline-four was installed in 2017 along with a replacement clutch, and it is equipped with twin SU carburetors. The harmonic balancer and the battery were changed in 2018, at which time a stainless-steel exhaust system was installed. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual gearbox with overdrive. Oil leaks are noted by the seller, who states that the car is slow to start when cold.

Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery below.

The car does not have a title, as it is registered in a state that does not issue titles for vehicles of its age. It is being sold on its registration.
