This 1988 Porsche 911 Turbo cabriolet is one of approximately 590 North American-market examples produced for the model year. It is powered by a turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six paired with a four-speed manual transaxle and has been modified with an aftermarket turbocharger, a Kokeln intercooler, an MSD ignition system, 15″ BBS wheels, and an Alpine stereo linked to Blaupunkt speakers. Finished in white over Linen leather, the car also has a brown soft top, power-adjustable front seats, and air conditioning. It was acquired by the current owner in 2006 with approximately 72k miles, and service in 2023 following a reported period of long-term storage involved replacing the front fuel pump, oil cooler, valve cover gaskets, and engine lid struts in addition to the first gear synchro and shift fork. This 930 Turbo cabriolet is offered in New Jersey on dealer consignment with the owner’s manual, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Pennsylvania title.

The car is said to have been repainted in Grand Prix White under previous ownership, and it features a brown convertible soft top, headlight washers, fog lights, black stone guards ahead of the rear wheels, a “tea-tray” rear spoiler, and a single exhaust outlet. The engine lid and right quarter panel were refinished in 2010, at which time the soft top is noted to have been replaced. Close-up photos of the paintwork and trim are presented in the gallery.

White 15″ BBS RS basketweave-spoke wheels have satin lips. They are mounted with older Pirelli tires measuring 225/50 up front and 345/35 out back that were reportedly mounted in 2023. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs.

The power-adjustable front seats are upholstered in Linen leather with burgundy piping and are complemented by a burgundy dashboard and upper door panels. Amenities include air conditioning, an analog clock, power windows, and an Alpine stereo linked to Blaupunkt speakers. The seats, door armrests, and shift boot were re-trimmed and the carpeting was replaced in 2010.

The burgundy leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,700-rpm redline as well as a 170-mph speedometer and gauges for oil pressure and oil temperature. The six-digit odometer shows 74k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership.

The turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six is said to have been modified with a K27 turbocharger, Billy Boat headers and exhaust system, and a Kokeln intercooler. After time spent in long-term storage, the car was serviced in 2023. Work detailed on invoices provided in the image gallery below has included installing an MSD ignition system and replacing the front fuel pump, fuel pump relays, oil cooler, valve cover gaskets, fuel level sending unit, and engine lid struts.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transaxle that was rebuilt in 2004. The synchro for first gear and the shift fork were replaced in August 2024.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
