This 1986 Ford Mustang GT convertible reportedly remained with its original owner until it was sold on BaT in January 2023, and it was recently acquired by the selling dealer. Powered by a 302ci Windsor V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission, it is finished in Bright Red over white leather upholstery. Equipment includes 15″ alloy wheels, a Traction-Lok rear axle, and a white convertible soft top as well as articulated front sport seats, air conditioning, cruise control, the Premium sound system, and a cassette stereo. Showing 84k miles, this Mustang GT is now offered at no reserve with owner’s manuals, service records, an Elite Marti report, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Pennsylvania title.

The car is finished in Bright Red and is fitted with a white convertible soft top and a matching top boot. Additional exterior details include fog lights, a luggage rack, black trim, and dual exhaust outlets. Photos showing the convertible top’s frayed left edge are provided in the gallery below.

Silver-finished 15″ alloy wheels with Ford-logo center covers wear 225/60 Cooper CS5 Ultra Touring tires that were mounted in October 2019. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.

The articulated front sport seats, as well as the two-place rear bench, are upholstered in white leather, and the door panels are trimmed to match. Red carpeting lines the floors, and additional appointments include air conditioning, power windows and locks, cruise control, and a Premium sound system with an AM/FM/cassette stereo.  Worn driver-seat upholstery is shown in the gallery, and the power rear windows need manual assistance to raise or lower.

The tilt-adjustable two-spoke steering wheel is equipped with cruise-control buttons, and it frames an 85-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for amperage, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 84k miles, approximately 10 of which were added under current ownership.

The 302ci Windsor V8 features electronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 200 horsepower and 285 lb-ft of torque. The oil was most recently changed under current ownership.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a Traction-Lok rear axle with 3.27:1 gearing. There is rust on some underside surfaces, further depicted in the gallery.

The Elite Marti report lists factory colors and equipment as well as an assembly date of February 10, 1986.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
