This 1983 Mercedes-Benz 380SL shows registration history in Texas and Oklahoma, along with 108k miles. It is powered by a 3.8-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and is finished in gold over Dark Brown MB-Tex. Features include a removable hardtop, a dark brown soft top, 14″ steel wheels with painted covers, Euro-style headlights and bumpers as well as a RetroSound Europa stereo, electric windows, central locking, and automatic climate control. The fuel system and brakes were reportedly refreshed in 2023. This R107 is now offered in Colorado by the selling dealer with the owner’s manual, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Oklahoma title.

The car left the factory finished in Champagne Metallic and was repainted in gold under prior ownership. Features include a color-matched removable hardtop and a dark brown convertible soft top. Additional exterior equipment includes Euro-style headlights and bumpers as well as fog lights, chrome-accented trim, and twin exhaust outlets. The power antenna does not work.

The 14″ steel wheels wear painted covers and are mounted with Lionhart LH-501 tires that were reportedly installed within the last year. The car was factory equipped with power steering, a fully independent suspension, and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes. The brake calipers, rotors, and pads were replaced in 2023, per the selling dealer.

The cabin features two bucket seats upholstered in Dark Brown MB-Tex, while wood veneer trim accents the dashboard and center stack. Woven floor mats line the footwells, and additional interior features include a RetroSound Europa stereo, cruise control, electric windows, central locking, and automatic climate control.

The four-spoke steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 108k miles.

The 3.8-liter V8 was factory rated at 155 horsepower and 196 lb-ft of torque. The fuel system was reportedly refreshed in 2023 and the fuel injectors, the warm-up regulator, fuel distributor, and the spark plugs and wires were replaced concurrently, per the selling dealer.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission. Additional photos of the underside are available in the gallery below.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other damage.

The Oklahoma title carries a “Classic” notation.
