This current owner purchased this 1966 Sunbeam Tiger Mk 1A from the original owner in 2019 and subsequently had it restored. It is finished in Mediterranean Blue over black leather and powered by a 260ci V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes 13″ steel wheels with bright hubcaps and trim, a black soft top, front disc brakes, a heater, and chrome bumpers and trim. This Tiger is now offered on behalf of the owner, a licensed California dealer, with a certificate of authenticity from the Sunbeam Tiger Owners Association, the owner’s manual, service records, a spare set of wheels and tires, a removable orange hardtop, and a clean California title.
The car was repainted in its factory Mediterranean Blue (100) in 2024. Features include chrome bumpers, a black soft top, a driver-side mirror, dual exhaust outlets, and chrome trim. The 13″ steel wheels are finished in cream and wear chrome hubcaps. Tires are 185/70 Uniroyal Tiger Paws. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.
The interior features bucket seats and was reupholstered in black leather in 2024. Appointments include a passenger-side glove compartment, a heater, seat belts, and an ashtray.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel sits ahead of a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 24k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership. The total mileage is unknown.
The 260ci Ford V8 was factory rated at 164 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, and the seller states that it was rebuilt between 2019 and 2022.
The four-speed manual transmission was also reportedly rebuilt.
