This 1965 Buick Wildcat convertible is finished in black with a white soft top over blue vinyl upholstery and is powered by a 401ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include Rally 15″ wheels, whitewall tires, power steering, front disc brakes, dual exhaust, cornering lights, front bucket seats, a center console, lap belts, an AM/FM radio, and tilt steering. The current owner acquired the car in late 2023. This Wildcat is now offered on dealer consignment with a Delaware title.
The car was finished from the factory in Astro Blue (DD) and was repainted under prior ownership, according to the selling dealer. Equipment includes a white convertible top, quad headlights, cornering lights, dual side mirrors, chrome bumpers and trim, Wildcat badging, and dual exhaust tips. Chips in the paint, touch-ups, corrosion, and other imperfections are pictured in the gallery below.
Chrome-accented Rally 15″ wheels with Wildcat-logo center caps are mounted with American Classic whitewall tires; a steel spare with a Wildcat cover is housed in the trunk. Braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The steering is also power assisted, and the car rides on front and rear coil springs.
The front bucket seats and rear bench are upholstered in blue vinyl. Appointments include a center console, blue carpeting, an AM/FM push-button radio, a power antenna, lap belts, a heater/defroster, and a locking glovebox. Interior wear is depicted in the gallery.
The two-spoke steering wheel is secured to a tilting column and frames a circular 120-mph speedometer, a clock, warning lights, and a gauge for fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 66k miles, approximately 400 of which were added under current ownership.
The 401ci V8 was factory rated at 325 horsepower and 445 lb-ft of torque. The oil was changed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a Hydramatic three-speed automatic transmission. Corrosion is visible on underbody components.
