This 2005 Honda S2000 is finished in New Formula Red over black leather, and it is powered by a 2.2-liter VTEC inline-four paired with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes 17″ ten-spoke wheels, a black convertible soft top, xenon headlights, air conditioning, cruise control, and an Alpine audio system consisting of a CD stereo and a trunk-mounted amplifier. The car was acquired on BaT in June 2022 by the seller, who added approximately 2k of its 52k miles. This AP2 S2000 is now offered with a clean Carfax report and a clean Illinois title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in New Formula Red with a power-operated black convertible soft top, which features a glass rear window. Exterior details include xenon headlights, a black windshield surround, roll hoops, and oval-tipped exhaust outlets. Exterior blemishes include a ding in the front-left fender, another in the rear-left fender, stone chips, and scuff marks beneath the front bumper cover. The rear bumper cover was replaced following an accident at a stoplight. Body panel VIN stickers can be viewed in the gallery below.
The 17″ ten-spoke wheels have been powder-coated black and are mounted with 225/45 BFGoodrich G-Force Sport Comp-2 tires up front and 255/40 Continental ExtremeContact rubber out back. The brake calipers have been refinished in red, and the suspension has been modified for a lower ride height.
The seats are trimmed in black leather upholstery and are joined by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. Interior elements include push-button ignition, air conditioning, cruise control, an Alpine stereo, and an aluminum shift knob. An Alpine amplifier has been installed in the trunk.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a digital speedometer and a bar-style tachometer with an 8k-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 52k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership.
The 2.2-liter F22C1 inline-four is equipped with VTEC variable valve timing and was factory rated at 240 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. The starter was reportedly replaced in 2017, and the battery is said to have been changed in 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, and the clutch is said to have been replaced in 2015. A UK exhaust-bypass modification has been performed.
The Carfax report is free of accidents and other reported damage.
