This 2008 Honda S2000 is one of approximately 700 Club Racer models produced for the US market, and it was first delivered to Milton Martin Honda in Gainesville, Georgia. The car was purchased new by its current owner, and it has 30k miles following registration history in South Carolina and Kentucky. CR-specific equipment included a removable hardtop, aerodynamic aids, a rear chassis brace, quicker steering, and stiffer springs and anti-roll bars. Finished in Berlina Black over yellow cloth and black Alcantara, the car is powered by a 2.2-liter VTEC inline-four linked with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Factory 17″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Bridgestone Potenza RE070 rubber up front and Hankook Ventus HR II tires out back. The CR model features higher-rate springs, stiffer anti-roll bars, and a quicker steering ratio compared to the standard AP2 S2000.
The cabin features CR seats upholstered in black Alcantara with yellow inserts and stitching, the latter of which is also found on the steering wheel, shift boot, and door panels. Amenities include push-button ignition, air conditioning, cruise control, and a CD stereo.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a digital speedometer and a bar-style tachometer with an 8k-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 30k miles.
The 2.2-liter VTEC F22C1 inline-four was factory rated at 237 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
