This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro convertible was acquired by the seller in 2022 following refurbishment work that involved a repaint in red and the installation of tan leather upholstery as well as Heidts suspension components. An LS3 6.2-liter V8 and a 6L80E six-speed automatic transmission were subsequently fitted. The car is also equipped with a tan soft top and top boot, a 12-bolt rear end, staggered-diameter Billet Specialties wheels, Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, and a stainless-steel dual exhaust system. The interior houses a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a Lokar shifter, AutoMeter gauges, and Alpine audio components including a touchscreen head unit with Apple CarPlay. This Camaro convertible is now offered with a seller-provided build list, manual, invoices, and a clean Delaware title in the seller’s name.
The body left the factory finished in Grotto Blue and was repainted in its current shade of red at some point under prior ownership. A tan soft top and matching top boot are fitted. The car has shaved door handles that are operated via remote door poppers, handles inside, or a hidden exterior pull cable. Paint chips are noted.
Billet Specialties five-spoke wheels measure 17″ up front and 18″ out back and are mounted with BFGoodrich g-Force T/A measuring 215/45 and 245/40, respectively. Heidts suspension components include coilovers, control arms, and a four-link setup, and the car is fitted with power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering as well as Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes.
Tan leather upholstery covers the front bucket seats, rear bench, and door panels. Sound-dampening material was installed under the black carpets, and the body-color dash is topped with a black dashpad. Appointments include a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a Lokar shifter, Vintage Air climate control, and an Alpine touchscreen head unit with Apple CarPlay that is linked to a trunk-mounted amplifier and subwoofer.
A woodgrain-rimmed steering wheel fronts AutoMeter instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary readouts. The digital odometer shows 980 miles, approximately 300 of which were added under current ownership.
The LS3 6.2-liter V8 crate engine was installed in 2023 and is equipped with FiTech fuel injection, a Roto-Fab cold-air intake, an Entropy radiator and fans, and Hooker long-tube headers feeding a stainless-steel dual exhaust system.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 6L80E six-speed automatic transmission and a 12-bolt rear end.
