This 2008 Porsche 911 Turbo cabriolet is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six that drives all four wheels via a five-speed Tiptronic S automatic transaxle. It is finished in Midnight Blue Metallic over Sand Beige leather and features a blue soft top, 19” Turbo wheels, bi-xenon headlights, the Parking Assist System, heated front seats, PCM with navigation, a six-disc CD changer, automatic climate control, and the Sport Chrono Package. The car was sold new in California and was acquired by the current owner in 2013. This 997.1 Turbo cabriolet has 45k miles and is now offered by the seller on behalf of their mother with a Certificate of Authenticity and a clean Michigan title in the owner’s name.
The car is finished in Midnight Blue Metallic with a Metropol Blue soft top. Additional features include bi-xenon headlights, fog lights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, side air intakes, flared quarter panels, and a rear spoiler. Paint protection film was removed from the front bumper, hood, and quarter fenders in preparation for the sale. Blemishes in the paint and paint meter readings are presented in the gallery.
The 19” Turbo wheels are mounted with Michelin tires measuring 235/35 up front and 305/30 at the rear. Braking is handled by Porsche-branded six- and four-piston front and rear calipers over 13.8″ rotors. The car is equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as well as Porsche Stability Management (PSM) with an automatic brake differential (ABD). The front CV boots were replaced and the CV joints were repacked in 2022, and the brake fluid was flushed in preparation for the sale.
The cabin features power-adjustable heated front seats upholstered in Sand Beige leather that extends to the dashboard and door panels. Turbo-branded floor mats line the footwells, and additional interior amenities include driver-seat memory settings, Porsche Communication Management with navigation, a trunk-mounted six-disc CD changer, a Bose sound system, automatic climate control, and cruise control. The carpet is stained in the driver-side footwell.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central tachometer, a 225-mph speedometer, and gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The optional Sport Chrono Package Plus added a stopwatch atop the dashboard. The digital odometer indicates 45k miles, approximately 18k of which were added under current ownership.
The twin-turbocharged and intercooled 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six was factory rated at 480 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. The Sport Chrono Package allows the 997.1 Turbo to overboost for up to 10 seconds, increasing peak-rated torque to 505 lb-ft. The oil was changed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed Tiptronic S automatic transaxle.
The Certificate of Authenticity lists engine and transmission numbers, factory colors and equipment, and an MSRP of $144,305.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage.
