This 1972 Fiat 124 Spider is a project car with no engine and it is finished in red over black vinyl upholstery. A five-speed manual transmission is present along with a black soft top, four-wheel disc brakes, 13″ alloy wheels, and a luggage rack. The seller purchased the car in 2019 and subsequently replaced the tires as well as the rear brake components. This 124 Sport Spider project is now offered with a one-ton engine hoist, shop manuals, spare parts, and Georgia registration.
The car was factory-finished in blue and was repainted red under previous ownership. It is equipped with a folding black convertible soft top, a luggage rack, and chrome bumpers and trim. Dents, blemishes, and peeling paint are seen around the bodywork, and the chrome is pitted. There are rust holes in the floors and damage is visible on the front cross-member, along with rust on the hood and the chassis.
The 13″ alloy wheels are mounted with 175/70 Barum Brillantis 2 tires installed in 2020. Disc brakes are fitted at all four corners, and the seller states the rear calipers were rebuilt and the pads and hardware were replaced along with the brake lines and parking brake cable. Replacement front brake components are included in the sale.
The black vinyl upholstery is ripped and no carpet is fitted. Damage is noted on the door panels and the dashboard. Removed interior components are included in the sale, though the passenger seat is missing.
The steering wheel wears an aftermarket cover. No instrumentation is fitted and total mileage is unknown.
The factory twin-cam inline-four is no longer present, and the car is sold without an engine. A five-speed manual transmission is connected to a live rear axle.
Removed interior components are included in the sale along with a set of lug bolts for Campagnolo wheels.
The car does not have a title, as it is registered in a state that does not issue titles for a vehicle of its age. It is being sold on its registration.
