This 1957 Chevrolet Corvette is powered by a replacement 327ci V8 that breathes through dual four-barrel carburetors and is linked with a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. It is finished in Venetian Red with white coves and features a body-color hardtop, a white soft top, a wrap-around windshield, split chrome bumpers, and a dual exhaust system with MagnaFlow mufflers. Further details include 15″ steel wheels with faux knock-off covers and whitewall tires along with Bilstein rear shocks, drum brakes, a twin-cowl dashboard, and bucket seats trimmed in red vinyl. This C1 Corvette was listed on BaT in September 2024 and is now offered on dealer consignment with Connecticut registration.

The car is finished in Venetian Red with Ivory coves and features a body-color removable hardtop and a white soft top that requires repair. Further details include a wrap-around windshield, split chrome bumpers, and dual exhaust outlets that exit through the rear bumper uprights. There is evidence of prior bodywork at the front, and close-up photos of the paint, trim, and imperfections including scrapes on the rear valance are displayed in the gallery.

The 15″ steel wheels wear covers with faux knock-off spinners and are mounted with BFGoodrich Silvertown whitewall tires. A matching spare is stowed in the trunk. The car came equipped from the factory with an independent front suspension and semi-elliptical rear leaf springs, and Bilstein rear shocks were installed under prior ownership. Braking is handled by drums at each corner, and the master cylinder, wheel cylinders, and brake hoses were replaced in preparation for the sale.

The cabin features twin bucket seats trimmed in red vinyl with textured inserts that are joined by a red and white dashboard and color-coordinated carpets and door panels. The heater, defroster, and radio do not work.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, and center-mounted instrumentation consists of a tachometer, an ammeter, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 53k miles, approximately 100 of which were added under current ownership.

Details obtained following the previous listing indicate a replacement 327ci V8 is fitted, and it is equipped with dual four-barrel carburetors and Corvette-script valve covers. The ignition coil, ballast resistor, and fuel pump were replaced in preparation for the sale.

The illegible engine stamping pad is shown above, and the engine has a casting number of 3858174.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. The dual exhaust system features MagnaFlow mufflers.
