This 2001 Porsche Boxster is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over Metropol Blue partial leather and is powered by a 2.7-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes the Sport Package, a replacement Metropol Blue soft top, 17″ Sport Classic wheels, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and cruise control. The car spent time in Hawaii, Texas, Virginia, Arizona, and Michigan before the seller’s 2021 purchase, and they have since added approximately 13k of the 87k indicated miles. This 986 Boxster is now offered at no reserve with a Porsche Production Specifications document, a service manual, recent service records, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and features a Metropol Blue soft top that is said to have been replaced. Additional exterior details comprise a speed-activated rear spoiler, a glass rear window, side air intakes, and roll hoops. The seller states that paintwork has been performed to address dents and dings, and noted existing blemishes include a damaged right-rear quarter panel and missing clearcoat on the front bumper cover.

The 17″ Sport Classic alloy wheels are mounted with Riken Raptor ZR A/S tires measuring 205/50 up front and 255/40 out back. The right-rear wheel is damaged. Braking is handled by four-piston Porsche-branded calipers fitted over vented rotors at all four corners. Records indicate that the front strut assemblies, mounts, bearings, bump stops, and sway bar end links were replaced in April 2023 and the left axle and both axle boots were replaced in July 2024.

The seats are upholstered in Metropol Blue leather with a color-matching dashboard and door panels. Features include a CDR-220 stereo, cruise control, automatic climate control, and aftermarket floor mats. The seller states that the driver’s seat upholstery has been repaired and a key fob transmitter was replaced in June 2022.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a central tachometer, a 160-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 87k miles, approximately 13k of which were added under current ownership.

The mid-mounted 2.7L flat-six was factory rated at 217 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque. The seller notes that the IMS bearing was replaced in 2013 with an LN Engineering kit. Records indicate that the engine software was updated and the mass airflow sensor and an engine mount were replaced in October 2021. The water pump and thermostat were then replaced in June 2022.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. The transaxle mounts were replaced in October 2021.

The Porsche Production Specifications document lists factory colors and optional equipment. A car cover, a service manual, manufacturer’s literature, and recent service records are also included in the sale.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage and notes at least one recall.
