It is powered by a 1.8-liter DOHC inline-four linked with a five-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential. The 1.8-liter DOHC inline-four was factory rated at 133 horsepower and 114 lb-ft of torque. An aluminum radiator was installed and the air conditioning compressor was replaced in 2023, and work in preparation for the sale included changing the oil and replacing the battery.
