This 1997 Mazda MX-5 Miata is one of 3,000 M-Edition examples produced for the model year, all of which were finished in Marina Green over tan leather upholstery. It is powered by a 1.8-liter DOHC inline-four linked with a five-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential. Equipment includes the Popular Equipment Package, 15″ alloy wheels, a weighted shift knob, an aluminum radiator, a Pioneer head unit, aftermarket speakers, a backup camera, air conditioning, and cruise control. Purchased by the seller in 2023, this NA Miata shows 94k miles and is now offered at no reserve with a car cover, spare parts, the owner’s manual, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Utah title in the seller’s name.

All 1997 M-Edition examples were finished in Marina Green, and exterior equipment includes a tan convertible soft top, pop-up headlights, chrome door handles, painted mirror caps, a convertible top boot, M-Edition badges, and a single exhaust outlet. Cracks are noted on the rear bumper cover, left taillight, and right headlight, the antenna does not fully retract, and photos highlighting exterior imperfections are provided in the gallery.

Bright 15″ alloy wheels have pitting in the finish and are mounted with Hankook tires. The car is equipped with an independent double wishbone suspension, front and rear stabilizer bars, and four-wheel disc brakes with slotted front rotors. Replacement brake pads and rotors were fitted in 2023, per the seller.

The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in tan leather along with color-coordinated door panels as well as a black upper dashboard and center console. M-Edition-branded floor mats line the footwells, and additional appointments include a backup camera, aftermarket speakers, a Pioneer head unit, a weighted shift knob, headrest speakers, air conditioning, wood trim, cruise control, and power windows and locks. Wear is visible on the driver’s seat. The removed stereo and shift knob are included in the sale.

The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 94k miles.

The 1.8-liter DOHC inline-four was factory rated at 133 horsepower and 114 lb-ft of torque. An aluminum radiator was installed and the air conditioning compressor was replaced in 2023, and work in preparation for the sale included changing the oil and replacing the battery.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
