This 1968 Triumph TR250 is a triple-black convertible that was acquired by the seller’s parents in 2001. The braking system was refreshed, the carburetors were rebuilt, and the clutch cylinders were replaced in 2021. Power comes from a 2.5-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission, and equipment includes a PerTronix ignition system, 15″ knock-off wire wheels, a cabin heater, a RetroSound radio, TR6 bucket seats, and a black soft top. This TR250 is now offered by the seller on behalf of their mother with service records and a clean Maryland title.

The car has been refinished in black and features a gold front stripe. Equipment includes a replacement black soft top, a boot, a bullet-style left mirror, and a retractable antenna. The seller notes the right-front turn signal socket needs to be replaced, and the chrome is worn.

Painted 15″ wire wheels are mounted on knock-off hubs, and they are mounted with Dean AST radial tires. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums. The brake master cylinder was replaced in 2021, along with the front brake pads, rear brake shoes, and rear wheel cylinder assemblies, and subsequent work in April 2022 involved bleeding the master cylinder and brake system.

The cabin houses TR6-sourced bucket seats trimmed in black vinyl upholstery joined by color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Appointments include a heater, a retrofitted RetroSound radio, and Insignia speakers.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a Smiths 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer, while auxiliary gauges are positioned in the center of the dash. The five-digit odometer shows 92k miles.

The 2.5-liter inline-six is equipped with dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors, a PerTronix ignition system, a chrome valve cover, and a spin-on oil filter adapter. The carburetors were rebuilt in April 2021 and subsequently cleaned in 2022. Additional work in 2022 involved fitting a battery cut-off switch as well as replacing the battery terminal cable and spark plugs. The fuel pump, filter, and hoses were also changed.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission. A replacement exhaust system was fitted in 2006. The clutch master and release cylinders were replaced in 2021. Corrosion is visible on the underside hardware and components.
