No Reserve: 36k-Mile 2005 Mercedes-Benz SL500

This 2005 Mercedes-Benz SL500 is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission and is finished in Alabaster White over gray leather. Features include a power-folding hardtop, bi-xenon headlights, Parktronic, Keyless Go, heated seats, a Bose sound system, and COMAND with navigation. The car has 36k miles, and it shows ownership history in California, New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey. This R230 is now offered in New York at no reserve with a clean Carfax report and a clean New Jersey title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Alabaster White (960) and features a power-folding convertible hardtop, bi-xenon headlights, fog lights, Parktronic, dual exhaust outlets, fender air vents, and and the AMG Styling Package, which added a revised front spoiler and side skirts. There are indentations on the roof and on one of the quarter panels, damage to the front bumper cover, and additional paint imperfections are shown in the gallery.

The 18″ AMG Monoblock alloy wheels shows signs of curb rash and are mounted with a mix of Bridgestone Blizzak, Michelin Pilot Sport, and Continental ExtremeContact tires. The car features Active Body Control (ABC) suspension as well as an Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Automatic Slip Control (ASR).

The cabin features heated power-adjustable seats are trimmed in gray leather, while wood trim accents the center stack and door panel inserts. Equipment includes dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, a Bose sound system, Keyless Go, and COMAND with navigation. There are stained areas of the carpet behind the front seats.

The leather- and wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 36k miles, approximately 600 of which were added under current ownership.

The 5.0-liter M113 V8 was factory rated at 302 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque. The batteries were replaced in 2023.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed automatic transmission. One of the plastic undertrays is damaged.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other damage.
