This 1981 Volkswagen Rabbit Convertible is finished in Cedar Green Metallic over tan upholstery and is powered by a 1.7-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes a black convertible top, a roll bar, power-assisted front disc brakes, 13″ steel wheels with covers, a cassette stereo, and a heater. The car spent about two and a half decades in disuse, and recommissioning work performed since 2023 has included replacing the fuel tank, spark plugs, and tires. This Rabbit Cabriolet shows 124k miles and is now offered by the selling dealer at no reserve with the owner’s manual, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Oregon title.

The car is finished in Cedar Green Metallic (LK6Y) and features a black soft top with a heated rear glass window as well as a black roll bar, round headlights, and dual remote-controlled side mirrors. Close-up photos of finish imperfections are included in the gallery.

The 13″ steel wheels wear VW-branded covers and are mounted with Ironman iMove PT tires, which were fitted in preparation for the sale. The car was factory equipped with an independent suspension, and braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.

The seating surfaces are trimmed in tan upholstery, and the front seats wear covers. Interior appointments include a cassette stereo with a graphic equalizer as well as front vent windows, a locking glove box, and a heater. Photos included in the gallery detail holes and separation on the driver seat’s upholstery.

The four-spoke steering wheel fronts an 85-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, a digital clock, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. Auxiliary gauges for voltage, oil pressure, and oil temperature are mounted in the center console. The six-digit odometer shows 124k miles, approximately 25 of which were added under current ownership.

The transverse-mounted 1.7-liter inline-four was factory rated at 74 horsepower and 90 lb-ft of torque. The fuel tank and spark plugs were reportedly replaced in preparation for the sale.

Power is routed to the front wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle.

The Carfax report is free from accidents or other reported damage.
