This Challenger roadster is one of approximately 250 Jaguar XKE roadster replicas produced by Triple C in the UK and features a fiberglass body mounted to a galvanized steel chassis. Imported to the US under prior ownership, the car is finished in green and features a black soft top, covered headlights, Series I-style taillights, chrome bumpers, and dual exhaust outlets. Power comes from a 4.2-liter inline-six paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, and additional equipment includes dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors, a fuel cell, 15” wire wheels, adjustable coilovers, and four-wheel disc brakes. The black upholstery was recently replaced, and the interior also offers a Moto-Lita steering wheel, a Philips multi-band radio, and Smiths instrumentation. Acquired by the selling dealer in 2024, this XKE replica is now offered in Florida at no reserve with a clean Arizona title listing the car as a 1990 OTHR.

Triple C produced XKE replicas from 1985 to 1992, fabricating fiberglass composite bodies using molds taken from a Series 1 model. Initially offered with a Rover V8, the cars ride on a galvanized steel chassis that was later redesigned to accommodate a Jaguar inline-six. This example is said to have been completed in 1990 and is finished in green with a black soft top. Exterior details include covered headlights, a louvered clamshell hood secured by tan leather straps, Union Jack badging, triple windshield wipers, central exhaust outlets, and chrome bumpers with overriders.

Chrome 15” knock-off wire wheels are retained with two-eared spinners and are mounted with 205/70 Gremax Max HT tires. The independent suspension features adjustable coilovers at all four corners, and braking is handled by four-wheel discs with inboard-mounted units out back.

The cabin features bucket seats trimmed in black upholstery that extends to the dash pad, center console, door panels, and sills. Additional appointments include a Philips multi-band radio, a T-handle gear selector, and lap belts.

The Moto-Lita steering wheel fronts Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 220-km/h speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and gauges for alternator output, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 41k kilometers (~25k miles), approximately 100 of which have been added under current ownership.

The 4.2-liter Jaguar inline-six is equipped with dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors, which are said to have been rebuilt. A fuel cell has been mounted in the trunk, and the wiring harness is also said to have been replaced.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission.

The frame stamping is shown above, and the number – CL10100011778902V – matches the VIN listed on the current Arizona title, which describes the car as a 1990 OTHR Challenger.
