This 1969 Datsun 2000 roadster was repainted silver following the seller’s acquisition in 2012, and it is powered by a 2.0-liter U20 inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transmission. The car rides on 14″ wheels and is further equipped with dual side-draft carburetors, a black convertible soft top, front disc brakes, an earlier-model rear bumper, bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl, a cassette stereo, and a cabin heater. This SRL311 roadster is now offered at no reserve with a clean Michigan title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in silver and was repainted in 2012 under current ownership. An earlier-model rear bumper has been retrofitted, and additional details include a black convertible soft top, a left-side mirror, and a single exhaust outlet. The seller notes that the trunk and ignition keys do not match, the door window gaskets are missing along with the key for the fuel cap, and the windshield is scratched.

The 14″ wheels are mounted with 175-series Michelin Radial tires that are in need of replacement. Braking is provided by front discs and rear drums, and various wheel center caps are missing.

The bucket seats are upholstered in black vinyl and are accented by color-coordinating carpeting. Interior appointments include lap belts, a heater, a vertically oriented AM/FM/cassette radio, and a rear cargo shelf. A tear is visible in the driver’s seat backrest, and the seller notes the light is missing in the console, the analog clock does not work, and that the key is missing for the glove compartment.

The three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a central tachometer, a 140-mph speedometer, and supplementary gauges for coolant temperature, amperage, oil pressure, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 35k miles, approximately 2k of which have been added under current ownership.

The 2.0-liter U20 inline-four features dual side-draft carburetors and a red-finished air cleaner housing. The cylinder head was reportedly rebuilt in 2012, and a photo of the engine stamping can be viewed in the gallery.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. Rust is evident on the underside, and additional photos are provided in the gallery below.
