This 1988 Alfa Romeo Spider Quadrifoglio was purchased by the seller two years ago, and subsequent work has included a repaint in black as well as reupholstering the cabin in Slate Gray vinyl with red stitching. Power is from a 2.0L twin-cam inline-four connected to a five-speed manual transmission that was overhauled last year, and additional equipment includes a limited-slip differential, 15″ 12-hole light alloy wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a black convertible soft top, a rear spoiler, bucket seats, a Sony radio, air conditioning, and power windows. This S3 Spider Quadrifoglio shows 84k miles and is now offered with tools, a damage-free Carfax report, and a clean Virginia title in the seller’s name.

The Pininfarina-designed bodywork was refinished in Black (AR913) earlier this year, and it features a black convertible soft top, a front air dam, body-color ground effects, power-operated side mirrors, and a rear spoiler

The 15″ 12-hole light alloy wheels are mounted with Cooper Evolution Tour tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted discs at each corner. Sport-tuned springs and polyurethane sway-bar bushings were installed under prior ownership.

The cabin features bucket seats have been reupholstered in Slate Gray vinyl with red stitching, and amenities include a Sony radio, air conditioning, power windows, vent windows, and a digital clock. The air-conditioning compressor was replaced this year.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames Jaeger instrumentation consisting of a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer as well as gauges for oil pressure, voltage, fuel level, and coolant temperature. The six-digit odometer shows 84k miles, although the Carfax report lists a mileage inconsistency in a November 2010 entry.

The 2.0-liter DOHC inline-four features Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection for a factory rating of 115 horsepower and 110 lb-ft of torque.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The transmission was overhauled last year, and the seller notes that corrosion has been addressed beneath the car.

The Carfax report shows the aforementioned mileage inconsistency.
