This 1976 Mercedes-Benz 450SL was purchased by the current owner in 2004 and now shows 95k miles. The car is powered by a 4.5-liter V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and is finished in yellow over Parchment leather upholstery. Equiptment includes a black soft top, a removable hardtop, 14″ steel wheels with painted covers, fog lights, an Alpine stereo, electric windows, central locking, and air conditioning. Work performed since 2021 is said to have included replacing the battery, alternator, drive belts, water pump, and thermostat. This R107 is offered in Ohio at no reserve by the seller on behalf of the current owner with a clean Indiana title in the owner’s name.

The car is finished in Yellow (624) and features a color-matched removable hardtop and a black convertible soft top. Additional exterior equipment includes fog lights, a power antenna, and chrome-accented bumpers and trim. Close-up photographs of the exterior finish and trim are shown in the gallery below.

The 14″ steel wheels wear body-color covers and are mounted with Michelin Harmony tires. The car was factory equipped with power steering and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes. The steering box was reportedly replaced in 2021.

The cabin features two bucket seats upholstered in Parchment leather along with a matching center console and door panels. Interior features include an Alpine head unit, electric windows, central locking, and air conditioning. The cover is missing from the trunk-mounted battery.

The four-spoke steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 95k miles.

The 4.5-liter V8 features Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 180 horsepower and 220 lb-ft of torque. The battery, alternator, and drive belts are said to have been replaced in 2021, and work performed in 2024 included changing the oil and coolant and replacing the water pump and thermostat.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission.
